Data recordings

Data recordings can be created for edge connectors of the OPC connection type. The settings regarding retention time and triggering apply to all data points of the selected application. The data is recorded into an internal data model that is not visible to the user. The display of the captured data on a page can be done, for example, with the Time Series Chart or the Dynamic Label.

A data point can only be recorded once per application, meaning that even if multiple edge connectors are used, the last recording setting will be used for all data points.

If there are multiple OPC servers with the same data points, they cannot currently be distinguished when selecting them in the Data Browser in the Page Designer – they will be displayed only once in the hierarchy.
